When you press power button on your computer or laptop there is a pretty loud startup sound which indicates the windows has load up and ready to use. While this is a useful computer feature some people find the sound annoying and wants to get rid of the sound or whatever the reason maybe, you want to disable it.
We will cover easiest way to disable the windows start up sound.
STEP 1 :
- Click search bar on your computer.
2. Now type in ‘Control Panel’ on your search bar click on the app as shown on the picture.
3. After you open Control panel from the top right corner click on ‘category’ and from the drop down select ‘Large icon’.
4. Now click on’sound’ and sound manager will open up.
5, Now click on sound on the sound manager option as shown on the picture.
6. Check on bottom left corner and untick ‘play windows startup sound’ and restart the computer.
STEP 2:
- Right click on your speaker button located on right side of your task bar and Click SOUND SETTINGS.
2. A new window will open up. Scroll down and find ‘ More sound settings’ and hit enter.
3. Sound window will open up and then select ‘sound’ from that menu.
4. you will see bottom left corner ‘Play windows startup sound’. You can simply untck it and it will disable
the Start up sound when your windows 11 computer loads up.
