If your PC or Laptop is running slow and sluggish, ‘hanging’ taking ages to start up and load up programs, it means your hard drive is having difficulty accessing data and chances are it’s going to fail in the near future, it will also start freezing (mouse freezing, not responding) and in extreme cases unexpected shutdowns ! All signs that Hard Failure is imminent ! It would be advisable to take action now, before it’s too late, more so if you haven’t backed up your data (all your files, pictures, video’s, music, spreadsheets, etc.,) as you’ll lose everything !
Your best bet is to Clone your entire Hard Drive to a new (preferably) SSD (Solid State Drive) which has no moving parts unlike a normal Hard Drive and is up to 5X-10X times faster.

As mentioned this is a USB boot flash drive so you will have to go into the BIOS settings, (usually pressing F2, F10 or Delete buttons on Start Up) check with your PC Laptop manufacturer (or Google your make and model) then check your Boot Order and make sure the USB is the first boot device. 
 
If the USB mass storage device is not your 1st boot device, this USB will not work !
